Make it the Mazawattee way.

1. Start with fresh, cold water. Freshly drawn water helps deliver a brighter-tasting cup.
2. Bring to the boil. Black tea infuses best with water just off the boil to bring out its depth. Use water at around 80°C for green tea to avoid bitterness and bring out its delicate flavour.
3. Warm your cup. Swirl with a little boiling water, then discard it to maintain temperature for an even infusion.
4. Add one tea bag per cup. One bag per cup gives a balanced infusion.
5. Pour over the tea bag. This saturates the leaves quickly for an even and well-rounded infusion.
6. Cover the cup. Rest a saucer on top to retain heat and keep the aroma in the cup.
7. Infuse. Allow 3 minutes for a lighter cup or up to 5 minutes for a full-bodied cup.
8. Remove the bag. Do not leave it in or squeeze it as this can make the tea taste bitter.
9. Enjoy it yourway. Drink it black for a brisk taste, add milk for a softer finish or a slice of lemon for a sharper lift.
