Perfect Everyday Black Tea Gravy Recipe
This recipe will make 1 cup, and can be ready in just 20 minutes.
½ cup Perfect Everyday Black Tea, steeped*
1 tablespoon onions, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1½ tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
In a small pot on medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the onions and garlic.
Stir in the soy sauce, and steeped tea.
Slowly add in the flour. Be sure to stir constantly to avoid clumps. This ingredient will help thicken the gravy.
When the desired thickness is reached, add salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat.
*To prepare the Perfect Everyday Black Tea for the gravy, you want to create a bold steep so that it will shine through the recipe. To do so, steep one tea bag in ½ cup of boiled water for 5 minutes.
